LILY SPRING SPECIALS

We have selected some of the lilies we will be planting at S-W Gardens this spring to offer to you at special discounts. These varieties have been successfully planted in the Spring in previous years. The collection contains Asiatics, Longiflorum-Asiatics(LAs), a few Species, Trumpets, Orientals and many varieties of Oriental-Trumpets(OTs). Bulbs may be purchased singly or in discounted multiples.

The bulbs have been kept cool for the winter and will be shipped between April 14 and May 12. They will be packed with material to keep them from being damaged in transit. When they arrive, please check your order, and let us know immediately if there are any problems. The bulbs should be planted as soon as your garden soil can be worked. Don’t worry if the soil still feels cold as long as it is not frozen. If you cannot plant these bulbs right-away, store them in a cool place, but not freezing, in the bags with the packing material. Some people use a vegetable crisper in a refrigerator. Lily bulbs are never fully dormant and they will make shoots as soon as the weather warms. We will not be responsible for storing in freezing or warm conditions, improper planting, unusual weather or neglect.

We do not accept orders and payments over the inter-net because we have major concerns about the security available in our area. Because of this, we ask that you submit your order on the order form with payment by cheque or money order. We fill orders in the order they are received. If items are sold-out we will get in touch with you before we make any substitutions. This is easier if you can include an e-mail address; but if not, we need a telephone number. These Spring Specials are for shipment in Canada only, but are also available at the gardens in Thamesville, Ontario, if you wish to pick them up in person.
